Existing cover group in northern Lake County is looking for a Bass player, preferably one that can handle some vocals. We are all in our 40's, 50's but don't let that stop you. It hasn't stopped us!
Broad range of rock music. Exisiting female vocalist handles some of the vocals. Current lineup is drums, guitar, vocals.

I'm a female in Illinois putting together a fresh new Rock Band in the music styles/influence of Evanescence, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Fly Leaf, Within temptation... I'm already with an Indie Label, have songs written, and in the process of recording. Looking for a career band.

Preferrably 18-25. Must be able to practice, help write songs, have your own equipement and a great attitude. Being able to sing back up vocals and a great stage presence would be wonderful!

I'm needing ~ Drummer, Bass, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, and Keys

I am looking for local hard rock/metal/punk bands (originals or covers) who need a FILL-IN bass player NOT A PERMANENT BAND MEMBER. I am currently playing in a Q101 style cover band and would like the opportunity to play heavier music. 

I play 5 string Spectors, have 2 Mesa 410's, and 1200watt Carvin Heads. I am primarily a finger player, but I will use a pick if needed and I love to use distortion. Willing to practice and do what it takes to make your band sound good.

I prefer bands in the Chicago-land area, suburbs, and/or within 2 hours of the city.

We are a 3 piece band of bass, electric violin/synth and drums. We're seeking an aggressive new drummer who can hit hard, play in unusual time signatures and write interesting parts.

We're very eager to collaborate on new material, no matter how similar or different it is from our existing material (we cover a wide range of tempos and dynamics). We have a practice space on the west side at Sacramento & Carroll, a van, nice gear. It's preferable that you live in the city. We tour during our vacation time each year and do the weekend warrior thing when we can. We would like to record our new material and play shows ASAP. We've played at venues around the city, house shows etc as well as toured the midwest and east coast.

We've got a post-rock, art, math, experimental influence and some of the bands we like or have been told we sound like include Shellac, Made Out of Babies, Cursive, Murder By Death, Milemarker, Form of Rocket, Fugazi, Blonde Redhead.
